The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mathematics lessons while ensuring students achieve strong academic outcomes. The role requires sound knowledge of the Edexcel curriculum, effective lesson planning, continuous assessment, and the ability to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. Key Responsibilities: -Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons in line with the Edexcel curriculum. -Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, and schemes of work. -Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. -Prepare students for Edexcel internal and external assessments. -Create a positive, engaging and disciplined classroom environment. -Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of students. -Maintain accurate student records and provide regular progress updates. -Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance. -Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school activities. -Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures. Requirements: -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. -2–5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics. -Strong knowledge of the Edexcel curriculum, assessment framework, and examination requirements. -Experience preparing students for Edexcel examinations is preferred. -Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. -Passion for teaching and improving student learning outcomes.
