The Academic Coordinator – Mathematics is responsible for leading and improving the Mathematics department by ensuring high-quality teaching, effective curriculum implementation, and strong student achievement. The role supports teachers through coaching, lesson planning, assessment, and continuous professional development while maintaining academic standards across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee the planning and delivery of the Mathematics curriculum. -Monitor teaching quality, lesson plans, and student performance. -Conduct classroom observations and provide instructional feedback to Mathematics teachers. -Coordinate assessments, examinations, and result analysis to improve student outcomes. -Mentor and support Mathematics teachers through coaching and professional development. -Ensure curriculum alignment with school and examination board requirements. -Maintain academic records and prepare departmental reports. -Collaborate with school leadership to implement strategies for continuous improvement in Mathematics. Requirements: -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. -2–5 years of experience in Mathematics teaching and academic coordination or departmental leadership. -Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, and instructional leadership. -Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
