The Academic Coordinator – English is responsible for leading the English department by ensuring high standards of teaching, curriculum delivery, and student achievement. The role supports teachers through instructional coaching, lesson planning, assessment, and professional development while promoting excellence in English language and literacy education. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee the planning and implementation of the English curriculum. -Monitor teaching quality, lesson plans, and student performance. -Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to English teachers. -Coordinate assessments, examinations, and result analysis to improve learning outcomes. -Mentor and support English teachers through coaching and professional development. -Ensure curriculum alignment with school policies and examination board requirements. -Maintain academic records and prepare departmental reports. -Collaborate with school leadership to drive continuous improvement in English education.
